Westend Seniors Activity Centre and Drive Happiness will launch a “We Deliver Happiness” Campaign on June 1 and will deliver happiness to seniors in the Greater Edmonton area during the entire week.
Right before the shutdown, Westend Seniors Activity Centre negotiated a nonprofit rate from our local suppliers to purchase quality and affordable personal protective equipment (i.e., disposable masks and hand sanitizer) and has been selling them at cost to seniors.
To benefit more seniors, Westend Seniors Activity Centre and Drive Happiness are working together to deliver them to seniors who cannot access personal protective equipment. In addition, Drive Happiness will combine this service with their already-existing essential delivery services (e.g., groceries, prescription, 8-week fitness program for seniors) to deliver Happiness, Nutrition, Health, Fitness and Safety to our seniors population.
Worth noting is that Westend Seniors Activity Centre has donated a large quantity of masks and hand sanitizers to protect all volunteer drivers from Drive Happiness.
We are very excited to offer masks and hand sanitizers to seniors and their families here in Capital region. CLICK HERE TO PLACE YOUR ORDER.
