We are always looking for a good excuse to gather our members to mix, mingle and celebrate together as a group.

 

LIVE MUSIC IN OUR COMMUNITY CAFE

Do you love music?  Good food?  Come join us on the last Wednesday of every month over the summer!  The Silvertones will playing live music from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m.   Pub style food is available!

 

MONTHLY BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Who doesn’t love a birthday party!  Come join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month! Every month we have a get together to recognize all members who are celebrating birthdays over cake and refreshments.  Everyone welcome and it is a wonderful way to meet new friends!

December 11

NOTE:  The December birthday party will be hosted December 11th
(Please note: This will be the second Wednesday of December due to Mavie’s being on the 18th.)

 

MONTHLY POTLUCK DINNERS!

Love potluck diners?  Come join us on the last Thursday of each month!  Our dinners and theme parties are something our members look forward to. We have formal dinners, costume parties, monthly potlucks, concerts… the list goes on.  Please bring a dish for 4 to 6 people.

The dates for the 2019 fall session are:

December 19

Note: The December Monthly Potluck dinner will be hosted on December 19th
(Please note that Dec 19 is the third Thursday – we’ve rescheduled it with the potluck group as the final Thursday is Boxing Day.)

Bus will leave WSAC at 9:15 a.m.
Aquatics class 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
Lunch 11:00 to noon in Chartwell’s dining room
Bus will return to WSAC at 12:15 p.m.

Members can bring their own bag lunch or purchase a prepared lunch at Chartwell Wescott.

  • You don’t have to order lunch every week
  • Lunch orders will be taken each week once we know the menu!

Love Choir Performance and Christmas song?

Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree
Saturday, December 21st

The bus will leave WSAC at 1:00 pm
Show starts at 2:00 pm
The show will run approximately 2 hours
The bus will return to WSAC between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm.

This talent-studded evening consists of dancing Santas, ballerinas, Christmas classics, and most impressively – a 35-foot singing Christmas tree of 150 choir members.

The Singing Christmas Tree is Edmonton’s most inspiring and charitable Christmas event of the year. Every December, the Singing Christmas Tree raises funds in support of the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation.
